“We opted for the pickup from hotel option which a local taxi firm collected us on time before taking us to the central departure location. Before leaving we were able to use free toilet facilities and there was a cafe open nearby. Prior to departure we were greeted by our guide for the day Luke who checked everyone in and welcomed us on to our transport for the day. During the two hour trip Luke provided some information about Thailand, Thai culture and ran through the days itinerary. “Tour operator drove very fast, seat belts didn’t work in car. Everything seemed rushed. Not enough time at stops, especially museum. Oom was difficult to understand at times. Long Boat was very u comfortable & landed at a rusty old jetty. Mini Bus seats were very uncomfortable & suspension poor making for a very rough trip. Train trip ok but guide didn’t communicate schedule very well. Lunch was acceptable. Nice view.”

“The holiday train that crosses the Rover Kwai is interesting to see and learning some of the WW2 and POW history is worthwhile, but for me the highlight was the National Park. The water falls are gorgeous. The hike was not terrible, more the humidity that is challenging. But swimming in the pools and climbing under the water falls is a great memory to take home from Thailand.”

“Very knowledgeible guide but difficult to understand. Interesting trip and we enjoyed it. No water or cold cloth provided which makes a huge difference when you are wilting. Lunch was very poor,meat was tough and tofu shrivelled.Floating market- paddle boat good fun, sadly motorised boats ruining atmosphere and bad fumes for genders.Long trip but good experience.”
